Reading the results of Scott Brown's victory

Scott Brown’s election has been called a referendum on healthcare, and President Obama and the economy. The media has not stopped speculating on what Brown’s win meant even without reliable election day exit polling. So what is the speculation based upon?

As Tip O'Neill said "All politics is local." The Scott Brown election was about Martha Coakley running a poor campaign Scott Brown worked hard got around the state had a narrative that worked.. He is a good campaigner and she is not comfortable in campaign mode. I'm sorry to say this because I am a strong Democrat who voted for Martha Coakley
On another point on Friday's Beat The Press If you watch the State of the Union on CNN you avoid the commentators I agree about getting the vice-President and Speaker off camera.
While I find myself getting into watching the congressional response, I really am too distracted and could do without it. I also agree with getting the Vice President and Speaker off the camera. But my biggest peeve is the opposing party rebuttal. I don't believe the State of the Union Address is a forum for discussion and debate and is more divisive and partisan. Maybe televised debates about the issues, such as the health care bill would be more informative. I'm so tired of the us vs them in Washington. Don't we agree on anything?
Classic SNL bit from way back when had a befuddled Michael J. Fox as Dan Quayle, not knowing when to clap or when to stand, sitting behind Dana Carvey's George H. W. Bush delivering a State of the Union.
Be a shame to lose classic comedy fodder like that. I say, keep the VP and the Speaker exactly where they are.
