I heard all your arguments, mostly conciliatory, to a fellow news entertainer and station money maker. I was hoping Callie would toe the Progressive, Traditionalist line yet even she bended to allow Jay to have his way with the public. Pedophiles also promise profusely they won't abuse in the future.

ST: Plight of our Boston Area Muslim Neighbors post 0911/01

This redemption of Jay, so FAST, for media money upsets me in many ways. If I was younger this turn of events would probably enrage me, yet I have watched and read piles of bad in our world done by people led by the Jay's and Rush's of this world. Bad is also done by the other side by lack of understanding of root causes that could effect a positive outcome.

Although I believe in redemption after penance, Jay got off Scott-Free after years and years and years of abusive language done unto other human beings. For plagiarism, by that one lady, each of you easily could create huge fines yet Jay gets off by saying "I'm sorry" and maybe a two week off period with pay.

When Jay was in his High Hate Days I talked to the people at the Islamic Society in Boston. Those poor people with long time USA/Boston roots were abused by people like Jay for months and years and he got a WTTK , Boston media "pinky" slap.

Where is his and his boss's extensive community service contribution time to the Muslim and to the Mexican, Puerto Ricao, , , community. I would like to see that this boy of hate from a station that earns from his hate learns.

You are entitled to wish everyone would "toe the Progressive line" or "go into farming" if they disagree with you. It is disingenuous in the extreme, however, to accuse others of "clos(ing) their eyes and hop(ing)" at the same time you play the victim card on behalf of the Boston Islamic Center, where the cast of characters has been, shall we say, "controversial" about their renunciation (or lack thereof) of objectively terrorist acts? I don't recall the Islamic community helping to pay for MY place of worship. As the saying goes, "you are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts."

Now aging cynic, in the Globe's Idea page I was surprised to see that most of the letters were supportive of my position. I just tried to get a link for you to today's letters yet it is taking too much time, so go to a library.

My bottom line is that this Jay guy, for all of us including conservatives, should be gone so we can rebuild traditional well founded principles.

Hi Again Aging cynic. Hey I got lucky and found some of those articles from Sunday's Globe OnLine. I just hate it when I can't link to a news article, yet hey it happens. You still will have to go to a library (or drive a distance to a Certified Library) to see this small section, yet here goes for links from the B.Globe for two of the letters.
